wf-1 - RARE, COLT WELLS FARGO POCKET MODEL REVOLVER.
This is another rare gun I found recently. It is a grey patina gun but still shows nice condition. No finish, 85 - 90% light scene remaining and fine action. The grips show about 80% original varnish with little wear. These WF Pockets are popular and in strong demand among collectors. I snuck up on this one and it's priced at wholesale when comparing other websites, gun shows and auctions. It's a bargain.

stka-1 - FINE CONDITION COLT 1860 MARTIAL ARMY REVOLVER WITH EXCELLENT REPRODUCTION SHOULDER STOCK NUMBERED TO THE GUN.
This is a very fine gun showing 75% blue on the barrel and traces on the cylider with fine scene. Lots of blue on the backstrap and 80% case colors. Fine grips with original cartouche. The stock is an absolutely excellent quality repro that could fool all but the experts(and has in the past)and the numbers are nearly perfect matches to the gun. It displays perfectly as a set without paying $10,000.00 for an original stock which are extremely rare. I intend to sell these together and they are priced right, but if they don't get out of here quickly, I'll split them up as I know many of you would like a stock.

1dr1 - FINE CONDITION COLT 1ST MODEL DRAGOON, MARTIALLY MARKED.
A strong condition Martial with just enough condition and an untouched look to classify it as fine to very fine condition for this model. This big Dragoon was carried in the holster for a long time but used, not abused.
The barrel, showing muzzle and front sight wear is in brown patina with generous, original military blue on its bottom. The cylinder, in light brown patina, retains about 85% scene with "U.S. Dragoons" and "Colt's Patent" motifs visible. Most of the scene characters are visible as is the Ormsby signature. All in all, a very strong scene with even some backround characters in view. The frame, hammer and lever show some traces of original silvered-out case hardening mixing with light brown. The grips show heavy wear to the bottom side edges, but the cartouches are high enough (common on 1st models) that they have survived. "WN" on the left flat is almost fully visible, and the "WAT" shows its top border on the right. Major parts to include the hammer, lever, frame, barrel, cylinder, backstrap and triggerguard are sub-inspected with an "N". All parts are matching including the lever latch with the exception of the wedge which is 366. By today's standards, this is a really nice First Model and it's priced like a civilian. This is a bargain.

This is a very rare Pocket that retains about 30 - 45% original factory silver plating on all of its steel surfaces, 90% on its brass. It has an absolutely gorgeous inscription that reads from the backstrap all the way down and around to the butt as follows; " Presented to; P. M. Beers by Larkins and Kingman, Bridgeport, Ct. April 24th, 1861 ". Beers was the 1st Connecticut Infantry, a 90 day that served duty at Vienna and Falls Church, Virginia, Fairfax Courthouse, and saw action and performed well at First Bull Run.

M-4 - COLT, MARTIALLY MARKED THIRD MODEL DRAGOON.
In extremely fine condition for a 3rd model, as most saw heavy use during the Civil War. This big Colt retains 70% military blue on the barrel and traces on the cylinder. The cylinder scene is excellent, with a vivid " U. S. Dragoons " motif. The frame, hammer and lever show a little bit more than 50% case colors, a rarity on any Dragoon. The grips show some wear, with a strong "SK" cartouche on the left side, and the outline of the "WAT" on the right. All edges, action and markings are sharp, and all sub-inspection marks are crisp. Very few Martial 3rd's are found in this condition, and it would be very difficult to improve upon this example.
