AO109 - DOUBLE TINTYPE IMAGES OF UNION INFANTRY SOLDIER. 6th Plates
Excellent images of the same soldier in Gutta-percha casing. Left image shows full uniformed infantryman with his musket and bayonet. The right, shows the same soldier sporting his Colt 1851 Navy obviously used for close-quarter combat. Images of the same soldier in different poses are rare indeed, and these are great.

A0103 - "Super Colt 1860 Army in his belt".
I was told that this image came out of Kentucky. This is a quarter Plate, that shows evidence of being originally in an image album. This 1860 Army is so clear, that it shows all of its case-colors. Numeral "6" on his Kepi, and wearing a Corps badge. I believe this man was a member of the 6th Ky. Cavalry, as they were issued 4-screw Armies early in the war with shoulder stocks. ( See my Amos Reese image under my sold images section for Reese with his stocked army).
